The Sewa Foundation has been striving to uplift marginalized communities through education and empowerment, with a special focus on the future of young girls. In 2023, the Foundation established Basirah Girls Academy, a unique institution that blends modern academic education with Islamic values, catering to classes from primary up to 8th grade. Currently, around 100 students are enrolled, most of whom belong to poor and underprivileged families. The academy has quickly become a beacon of hope, providing these girls with quality learning opportunities that nurture both intellect and character.
To further support students who come from distant villages and extremely disadvantaged backgrounds, Basirah Girls Academy also offers hostel facilities, ensuring that education is accessible to those who would otherwise be left behind. The hostel is located in a serene and refreshing environment, surrounded by lush greenery and situated beside a flowing river. This natural setting provides the girls with fresh air, peace, and a beautiful atmosphere, creating an ideal space for learning, growth, and overall well-being.
Despite these noble efforts, the Academy faces serious challenges due to limited resources and infrastructure. At present, only a limited number of girls can be admitted, leaving many eager and deserving students without the opportunity to learn. This remains a painful reality for the Foundation, as the demand for education far exceeds the current capacity. The Sewa Foundation continues to seek support so that Basirah Girls Academy can expand its facilities, accommodate more students, and ensure that no child is denied the gift of education.
سِوا فاؤنڈیشن سماجی خدمت اور کمیونٹی ویلفیئر کے میدان میں محروم طبقات کو بااختیار بنانے کے لیے سرگرم عمل ہے، اور خاص طور پر بچیوں کے بہتر مستقبل پر توجہ دے رہی ہے۔ 2023 میں فاؤنڈیشن نے بصیرۃ گرلز اکیڈمی قائم کی، جو ایک منفرد ادارہ ہے جہاں جدید تعلیمی مضامین کے ساتھ ساتھ اسلامی اقدار کی تعلیم بھی دی جاتی ہے۔ یہ ادارہ پرائمری سے لے کر آٹھویں جماعت تک کی تعلیم فراہم کرتا ہے۔ فی الحال یہاں تقریباً 100 طالبات تعلیم حاصل کر رہی ہیں، جن کا تعلق زیادہ تر غریب اور پسماندہ خاندانوں سے ہے۔ یہ اکیڈمی ان بچیوں کے لیے امید کی کرن بن گئی ہے جو پہلے معیاری تعلیم سے محروم تھیں اور اب انہیں ایسا موقع ملا ہے جس سے ان کی عقل و کردار دونوں پروان چڑھ سکیں۔
دور دراز دیہات اور نہایت کمزور پس منظر سے تعلق رکھنے والی طالبات کے لیے بصیرۃ گرلز اکیڈمی میں ہاسٹل کی سہولت بھی موجود ہے، تاکہ تعلیم کا حصول ہر بچی کے لیے ممکن ہو سکے۔ یہ ہاسٹل سرسبز و شاداب ماحول میں واقع ہے اور ایک خوبصورت دریا کے کنارے بسا ہوا ہے۔ یہاں کی تازہ ہوا اور پر سکون فضا طالبات کو ایک صحت مند، حسین اور تعلیمی ماحول فراہم کرتی ہے جو ان کی ذہنی و جسمانی نشوونما کے لیے نہایت موزوں ہے۔
ان عظیم کوششوں کے باوجود، ادارے کو وسائل اور بنیادی ڈھانچے کی کمی کے باعث کئی مشکلات کا سامنا ہے۔ فی الحال صرف محدود تعداد میں بچیوں کو ہی داخلہ دیا جا سکتا ہے، جس کے باعث بہت سی مستحق اور شوقین طالبات تعلیم کے حق سے محروم رہ جاتی ہیں۔ یہ ایک نہایت افسوسناک حقیقت ہے کیونکہ تعلیم کی طلب ہماری گنجائش سے کہیں زیادہ ہے۔ سِوا فاؤنڈیشن مسلسل تعاون اور مدد کی تلاش میں ہے تاکہ بصیرۃ گرلز اکیڈمی کو وسعت دی جا سکے، زیادہ طالبات کو داخلہ دیا جا سکے اور کوئی بھی بچی تعلیم کے حق سے محروم نہ رہے۔
