
Chairman of SEWA (Honorary):Prof. Mujeebur Rahman
Prof. Mujeebur Rahman who has agreed to be the Honorary Chairman of the organization hails from Katihar and is currently Professor in the Center of Arabic & African Studies, School of Language, Literature and Culture Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, new Delhi. He is working in JNU since 2001. He is keen to work for the development of the people of the region. He has published over 10 books including translations of Indian books to Arabic and published a large number of research papers and articles in Arabic, English. His recent translations include “Nahrunnar” (Aag Ka Darya) by Qurratul Ain Haidar, and “Alweshah al mudannas” (Maila Aanchal) by Fanishwar Nath Renu.
He has been conferred Presidential Award “Maharshi Badaryan Vyas Samman” for contribution to Arabic by Honorable President of India in 2012. He is also recipient of US State Departments’ Leadership Program scholarship in 2002. He is also the President of India offices of International Organization of Creativity for Peace, London. He has also translated the speeches of Honorable Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi Jiinto Arabic in many conferences and other occasions.

Secretary of SEWA:
Aadil Affan : He is a research scholar at India Arab Cultural Centre in Jamia Millia Islamia , New Delhi. He has completed his graduation and Master from JNU, New Delhi and Aalimiyat from Nadwatul Ulama, Lucknow. He was selected as one of the 60 winners of the 2017 Many language, One world United Nations Essay contest, from a pool of 6000 participants, from 170 countries, and he was awarded a trip to New York and Boston to participate MLOW global youth forum. And got an opportunity to speak at the United Nations General Assembly New York. He also participated in international universities Arabic debating championship as JNU team member representing India, held in Doha, Qatar.
